I've read somewhere, "The Kitchen is the Heart of the Home." I couldn't agree more. I think back to when I was growing up and remember my parents laughing, sharing, arguing, reading, and simply being in there together. The kitchen table was a centerpiece for our family. As an adult, the kitchen table is where my parents and sisters catch up and share our ideas about life, family, dreams, politics, and health, love, heartaches, and everything else under the sun.
My vision for this blog is for it to be a place to us to sit back, relax, and share stories and ideas about life. I realize that I have a distinct advantage in the story-sharing process. To be honest, I think part of my reason for starting this blog is to have my own personal soapbox. Lord knows my husband is tired of hearing my stories and suggestions for government, the military, schools and any other issue that irritates me.
